Answer: Watercolors are provided on high-grammage watercolor paper, and in this case, it is essential to frame them with glass to protect them.
Fine art prints on canvas, with or without a stretcher frame, do not require any glass and are virtually indistinguishable from the original.
People standing in front of your painting will feel the temptation to touch it.
Answer: Thank you very much for your advice and the corresponding explanation. Indeed, I believe it would be opportune to give this information to future clients; the reason for asking for your advice is that, indeed, it looks so real... that glass would diminish its quality, and the temptation to «touch» the texture is imminent. I cannot imagine seeing the painting with reflections on glass.
