El Escorial

Oil painting of the Bosque de la Herrería in El Escorial. Painting from 2011. One of my favourite field sketches. The evening is falling and the light of this scene will not last more than twenty minutes, when the sun sets behind the mountains of this old oak grove in El Escorial.
