Oil on panel of a Snowy Owl. As in a musical composition, the rhythm of this painting lies in the diagonal distribution of its elements and in the alternating repetition of rocks and grasses. The interesting pattern of the granite, impulsively resolved with a palette knife, also suggests the plumage of the Snowy Owl, making it an integral part of the landscape. Oil on tablex. True art in the hands and heart The fine art print is beautiful. It looks even better in person. I ordered it as a gift for a bird lover. By mistake, they sent me a different one, and Mr. Sosa had the wonderful gesture of gifting me the incorrect one and sending me the one I had ordered, which allowed me to give a truly magnificent gift. Both are beautiful. Thank you for your generosity. The person who received them is a follower of your paintings and was immensely happy. Many thanks.
European turtle dove I have this painting, and others too, a marvel. I have my home adorned with several paintings by Manuel: a Song Thrush, a Common Snipe, a Common Quail. If my house were bigger, I would have more. Thank you Manuel for making these paintings more accessible.
I was able to customize the fine art prints Many thanks for your help, very professional and approachable. I wish you all the best!

Azucena Robles -
Friend Manuel, you break the usual scheme of seeing this raptor in a white ice desert, integrating it into an impeccable tundra or wild mountain landscape.
The expressive power of the bird instantly captivates you. That dense white plumage, speckled by the characteristic dark barring of juveniles or females, stands out superbly. The owl appears camouflaged on a steep rocky hillside, sheltered behind a dense tuft of dry grass blades and spikes that shine with a beautiful golden, lateral light. The fixed and penetrating gaze of its intense yellow eyes breaks the stillness of the rocky environment and provides a brutal focal point to the composition. The textures of the lichens on the large foreground rock demonstrate outstanding field detail.
You have captured the gaze of this northern predator with mastery and a play of golden lights in the textures that are a spectacle.

I still wonder what the so-called snowy owls lived on during the journey to Spain, were there so many rats on that ship?
