True art in the hands and heart The fine art print is beautiful. It looks even better in person. I ordered it as a gift for a bird lover. By mistake, they sent me a different one, and Mr. Sosa had the wonderful gesture of gifting me the incorrect one and sending me the one I had ordered, which allowed me to give a truly magnificent gift. Both are beautiful. Thank you for your generosity. The person who received them is a follower of your paintings and was immensely happy. Many thanks.
European turtle dove I have this painting, and others too, a marvel. I have my home adorned with several paintings by Manuel: a Song Thrush, a Common Snipe, a Common Quail. If my house were bigger, I would have more. Thank you Manuel for making these paintings more accessible.
I was able to customize the fine art prints Many thanks for your help, very professional and approachable. I wish you all the best!

Jacinto Olivares -
What a delightful painting, maestro! You have chosen to portray a mythical bird of our wetlands in one of its most spectacular and elusive poses: courtship or the nuptial display. It is a painting that demonstrates a knowledge of field biology that only a painter-naturalist of your caliber can possess.
The incredible clarity and freshness of the composition are striking. You masterfully break away from backgrounds laden with palustrine vegetation to focus all attention on the bird against an immaculate white background, which lends it an almost Japanese elegance or that of a high-level classical scientific illustration. The Common Snipe is superb: with its very long bill pointing towards the water, its body tilted forward, and that impressive tail fanned upwards, displaying its intricate feather pattern.
The detailing of the cryptic plumage, with those characteristic longitudinal bands on the head and back rendered with millimeter-precise brushstrokes, is a painterly spectacle. And the masterful touch that balances and brings the scene to life is that small clear water refuge from which beautiful white wetland flowers (aquatic buttercups) emerge, whose corollas and green stems provide a note of freshness, humidity, and sublime color. It is a painting that breathes the pristine silence of a pond at dawn.
