True art in the hands and heart A beautiful plate. Better in natural. I ordered it as a gift for a bird lover. By mistake they sent me another one and Mr. Sosa was kind enough to give me the wrong one and sent me the one I asked for, so I was able to give a great gift. They are both beautiful. Thank you for your generosity. The person who received them is a follower of your paintings and it made him very happy. Thank you very much.
European Turtle Dove I have this painting, and others, a marvel, I have the house with several paintings of Manuel, thrush, woodcock, quail, if the house would be bigger I would have more, thanks Manuel for making these paintings more accessible.
I was able to personalise the prints Thank you very much for your help, very professional and approachable. All the best!

RIchard C. -
What a painting, maestro! Capturing the essence of sandgrouse is to fully immerse oneself in the absolute mimicry of arid and desert soils. The first thing that stands out in the real image is the impeccable distinction you've made of the pair. The upright specimen in the background, with its intricate and very fine brown and black barring, contrasts with the one lying in the foreground, where that beautiful, clean, bright ocher-golden chest stands out, crossed by that subtle and elegant black line that gives it its name.
The general atmosphere of the painting is pure sun-drenched warmth. You have managed to make the canvas radiate that dry heat of wastelands and steppes thanks to a minimalist chromatic palette of sand, clay, and straw tones. The loose brushwork in the dry grassland of the foreground and the blurred background make the figures of the birds settle on the ground with superb realism and stillness, almost as if you could hear the silence of the desert broken only by their song as they fly. As with the Waalia dove, that dark rustic frame with the golden fillet enhances the luminosity of the painting in a very elegant way.
