This painting of an Iberian Lynx was commissioned from me by the Marcelino Botín Foundation for King Felipe VI. I wanted to represent a message of hope for the Iberian Lynx, dignified, ascending, dappled with light. Oil painting on canvas. Manuel Sosa © 2003

True art in the hands and heart The fine art print is beautiful. It looks even better in person. I ordered it as a gift for a bird lover. By mistake, they sent me a different one, and Mr. Sosa had the wonderful gesture of gifting me the incorrect one and sending me the one I had ordered, which allowed me to give a truly magnificent gift. Both are beautiful. Thank you for your generosity. The person who received them is a follower of your paintings and was immensely happy. Many thanks.
European turtle dove I have this painting, and others too, a marvel. I have my home adorned with several paintings by Manuel: a Song Thrush, a Common Snipe, a Common Quail. If my house were bigger, I would have more. Thank you Manuel for making these paintings more accessible.
I was able to customize the fine art prints Many thanks for your help, very professional and approachable. I wish you all the best!

Alba María Roblas Moreno -
I have often regretted being a lover of nature and all its creatures, because this condition has often, more often than I would like, caused me great sorrow and sadness on seeing the destruction without limits or compassion to which man often subjects them. But then, when I admire works like this one and feel a deep pleasure and emotion when I recognise so much beauty, not only in this animal, which possesses it in unsurpassable measure, but also in every small plant, every tree, every stone, every shade of colour ... and to know that it still exists, even in a remote place ... then I think it is worth it and I am lucky to possess this kind of gift, and I thank, I do not know very well what or whom, for possessing it, because I realise that they are the heads and tails of the same coin.

I have seen his work and I have fallen in love with it. I am not an expert in painting but I know what his canvases transmit to me. I am choosing what is going to be my first acquisition and I am finding it really complicated so I think I will start with "The last lynx" as it is the work that has made me interested in you and your work and that has impressed me so pleasantly.
