True art in the hands and heart A beautiful plate. Better in natural. I ordered it as a gift for a bird lover. By mistake they sent me another one and Mr. Sosa was kind enough to give me the wrong one and sent me the one I asked for, so I was able to give a great gift. They are both beautiful. Thank you for your generosity. The person who received them is a follower of your paintings and it made him very happy. Thank you very much.
European Turtle Dove I have this painting, and others, a marvel, I have the house with several paintings of Manuel, thrush, woodcock, quail, if the house would be bigger I would have more, thanks Manuel for making these paintings more accessible.
I was able to personalise the prints Thank you very much for your help, very professional and approachable. All the best!

What impresses is the dynamism of the diagonal composition. You have captured the pair breaking through the air in perfect synchronicity. The male in the foreground is superb, showing that slender and aristocratic silhouette that characterizes it, topped by the central tail feathers, long and sharp as needles, which give it the name pintail. The detailing of the wing speculum, with that bronzed, green, and black flash flanked by white, is rendered with a delicacy in the brushwork that is only achieved after years of meticulous observation.
The play of lights and water transparencies is sublime. While the birds display a clean and hyperrealistic drawing, the wetland background blurs towards the edges of the paper with masterful watercolor washes, alternating the ocher tones of the marsh vegetation with the leaden and violet reflections of a storm sky beginning to open up. You manage to make the birds stand out with superb clarity, conveying a truly exciting sense of altitude, humidity, and wind.
