Another marvellous lynx, paid tribute to by Manuel Sosa in a sublime, unsurpassable way.
And now I am going to make a petition and protest a little:
When will the Reina Sofía Museum acquire some of his works so that we, the general public -or plebs for some- can enjoy them?
Please, let the Ministry of Culture do its job (I wouldn't even mind if they put it next to a modern doodle and/or a joke, I'd put up with it stoically, I'd try not to laugh, I promise).
And on the other hand, I know that this work is the one that gives publicity to the temporary exhibition -too brief- in the Museum of Natural Sciences in Madrid (my most sincere congratulations) but it should be extended throughout Spain because this fauna and the Art that represents it should be a bit of everyone's, a national treasure. That is how I feel.
And the Princess of Asturias Award for the Arts.
It is a disgrace that an artist of this stature is valued more highly abroad than in his own country.
