Retrato al óleo del tío Manel. Ya fallecido, su pasión era la caza. Los problemas en un ojo lo compensaba con una escopeta hecha a medida, con una culata de una forma peculiar. Oleo sobre lienzo. Manuel Sosa © 2023

True art in the hands and heart The fine art print is beautiful. It looks even better in person. I ordered it as a gift for a bird lover. By mistake, they sent me a different one, and Mr. Sosa had the wonderful gesture of gifting me the incorrect one and sending me the one I had ordered, which allowed me to give a truly magnificent gift. Both are beautiful. Thank you for your generosity. The person who received them is a follower of your paintings and was immensely happy. Many thanks.
European turtle dove I have this painting, and others too, a marvel. I have my home adorned with several paintings by Manuel: a Song Thrush, a Common Snipe, a Common Quail. If my house were bigger, I would have more. Thank you Manuel for making these paintings more accessible.
I was able to customize the fine art prints Many thanks for your help, very professional and approachable. I wish you all the best!

Jaime Ríos -
What a magnificent portrait! This portrait is a resounding tribute to classic country days and to the complicity between man and his faithful companion in nature.
Upon seeing the real image, the light of the twilight sky stands out with great force, laden with clouds in warm and purplish tones, enveloping the entire scene. The portrayed subject shows a very natural expression of satisfaction and country pride, wearing his worn leather vest and carrying the shotgun on his shoulder. Beside him, the expressiveness of the pointer dog (a braco or similar) carrying a piece in its mouth and the partridges hanging from the belt add impeccable costumbrista realism to the composition. The rich and impasto brushstrokes give the painting extraordinary strength and texture.
