Monterey peregrine falcons

A pair of young Peregrine Falcons dedicated to breeding on the rocky cliffs of the eastern Sierra Madre of Monterrey, in Mexico. Dr. Rodrigo Munro-Wilson, accompanied by his wife, studied them for many years and wanted to capture that experience in this dream painting that represents them with their two children.     This painting is a true visual spectacle that impresses with its depth and light. The Monterrey canyon is portrayed with incredible grandeur. One can appreciate the fantastic naturalist narrative of the scene: to the right, the pair of adult peregrine falcons watches over the abyss perched on a rocky outcrop, while to the left, masterfully integrated into the textured limestone wall of the nest or «baera», two of their already grown chicks rest. The entire composition is enveloped by that divine sunset light that breaks through the clouds and bathes the bottom of the mountainous valley. A truly imposing work

    I have seen many works on falcons but this family set is hypnotic; you can't stop looking at these spectacular lights and the perfect mastery of the composition. Spectacular in multiple aspects!!!!
